Our Mission
For Goodness Sake is a research-driven company creating evidence-based resources that help people strengthen intimacy, confidence, and connection. Our mission is to study what has too often gone unstudied: the specific ways people build closeness and pleasure, and how naming and sharing those discoveries leads to greater wellness.
Research Rigor
We work with researchers at Indiana University, the Kinsey Institute, Yale, and other leading universities. Our studies include large-scale interviews and nationally representative surveys that uncover the patterns in how people create closeness. We publish the results in peer-reviewed journals and then share them in resources that feel radically different from what most people expect from “sex education.” They are warm, welcoming, and radically honest—no blushing, no coyness, no shame.
Proven Impact
Our first resource, OMGYES, shows the power of this approach. Studies show that using it helps people better understand their own bodies, feel more confident, talk more openly with partners, and experience more pleasure. More than 10,000 clinicians recommend OMGYES, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has approved it as a patient resource. It is also being studied at NYU and the University of Chicago medical schools as a new way to build sexual agency, self-knowledge, and intimacy.
Our Cause
For too long, pleasure and intimacy have been left in the shadows. Our work is powered directly by the people who use it—every purchase funds new research and helps turn discoveries into resources that make life better. By documenting patterns, creating language, and presenting them with honesty and warmth, we are redefining how intimacy and pleasure are understood: not as taboo topics, but as essential parts of health and human connection.
